Laryssa Wirstiuk is an adaptable and creative content writer with more than 12 years of experience producing exceptional content for B2B and B2C businesses across a number of industries, including luxury/retail, healthcare, tech, education, and much more. Wirstiuk earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Maryland and eventually self-published her thesis, a collection of short stories titled The Prescribed Burn, using money she raised through a successful Kickstarter campaign. The Prescribed Burn received Honorable Mention in the 21st Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards.
After completing her advanced degree, Wirstiuk pursued teaching at the college level and spent more than five years teaching undergraduate writing, more specifically: basic reading and writing skills, creative writing, and multimedia composition.
Her poetry, short stories, and creative nonfiction have been published in both digital and print literary journals worldwide. In addition, Wirstiuk’s one-act plays have been performed on Manhattan stages.
